“Friends, it’s a lie,” said Jediah the Lion Hearted to a large crowd of adult infants parading in a sea of deceit that some organizer called the Good Times festival.

December 16, 2010on religious insanity
November 13, 2010clearly there is an insanity today in regards to belief systems and specifically in regards to the bible. i intend to use this article to offer my beliefs as they stand today. i write as they stand today for herein is the first idea of insanity that many “believers” engender. a rigid stance in belief, as if their understanding is done and decided.
the christian bible is rich. it is without question a gift. based on this statement i believe in god, yes? well, yes. the best way i can describe this god is as a father (in so far as on a kinesthetic level i feel love from this source). this word “father” is used in the bible as a way of defining god. and i will elaborate on this god in a moment. but first let me expound the original idea. who, in their right mind could claim to know the workings of god. yes, the bible teaches, but can it forever be understood? would that not be folly–a “sin” of pride to suggest complete knowledge of god’s agenda?
i may suggest that the bible, both old and new testaments, the entirety of it is amazing–a rich wellspring that is woven into all of history/humanity. it has affected all we are and is at the complete forefront of existence, whether you believe or not. the irony perhaps, to the rigid denier is, this document is the most hopeful and shining thing there is. it, in fact, has given all peoples of this time the freedom and prosperity that marks much of civilization. consider the barbarism were it not in place.
jesus, taught. jesus was a recalcitrant. jesus was not a do-gooder. in any event, the words jesus spoke have transformational power way beyond what the security-seeking mega churchgoer is probably willing to learn. for example, if God as “Jesus” said the kingdom of heaven is at hand wouldn’t that mean HERE & NOW? like right now, and not in some distant far off place? … I mean, this is just one simple example. Or as some versions say, that … the kingdom of heaven is near, or has come near. or whatever. the idea is, that the kingdom of heaven entered the world. and if heaven is eternity, as even a fourth grader is taught. and eternity is beyond time, then certainly the kingdom of heaven was, is, and will be. so as such it must exist now. and if anyone wishes to experience RIGHT NOW. well surely heaven exists here. the folly of time has many minds confused.
woe to the servant who misses the mark by projecting a future return of god.
I dreamnt of love and roses
October 31, 2010i dreamnt of love and roses. pickled in the autumn grace. no longer spooked by the face. incense of thyme. riddle of wine. chasm of life. within bones, strife. I dreamnt of a maiden. As sweet as time. With milky skin. And braided vines. She washed my sole Of grim and grab took my danger with a stab. I see my Lord still life in trees, the wood the bark, ever seas. Of hell and whispers to those who chose no. I revel some more in this ancient snow. And drunkards and dwarfs to the gully parade. The phantoms of night seem yet wish to be saved. Upon a golden Christmas a treasure for good. Upon a steamboat driven for all who should. And lo upon that still hill divine, I found me a treasure, sublime.
