apolitical worship
January 22, 2011on necessary movement reflected in election. an apolitical commentary
there’s much to be said
for the spirit of red
that has seem to come atop, instead.
what to stands forth
this moral retort
is coming to find
something real of sort
that regardless
of the view
enough people think its true
that there is this God who has a clue.
and as such seeks to know you.
A gibberish to us with minds
who believe all we need is kind.
And so we now have more to think
to try and understand his wink.
this nod of truth within the fog
a nod of worship within this blog.

recall pleasant spaces
trust color
break chains …

sweat when running.
do not be discouraged by the amount of work
sometimes its like plunging spikes into “the railroad.”

worthy soul
June 30, 2004Today I offer a tad bit of wisdom to inspire the weary hearted concerning this country’s current political polarity.
“Some great decorum, some fetish of a government, some ephemeral trade, or war, or man, is cried up by half of mankind and cried down by the other half, as if all depended on the particular up or down.”
–Ralph Waldo Emerson 1836
And so as it’s been said in every generation’s tongue since the sun was summoned to shine: be not fretful of these brutish affairs of the day. They more folly than the worthy soul need attend.
