The Truth and Lies Experiment

Press Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
March 2005

The Art Exhibition of the new millennium has arrived. And its first stop is in Fort Collins, Colorado. Keith Kimmel, author of the hit interactive novel, Jeremy’s Prophecy Dot Com is set to unveil a never-before-seen production involving fine art, poetry, music, and as he curiously puts it, “many other essential mediums.”

Suggested to include, sketches, audio, video, light, sound, words, photography, interactivity, and food, The Truth and Lies Experiment seems as if it will be a “MUST SEE,” event. Kimmel, one not to shy away from intensity or controversy has said, “My intention is to do exactly what I’m supposed to do with the utmost respect for humanity, people, birds, and pets. I’m honored to have the chance.”

Kimmel, whose first novel published in 2001, says he seeks the extreme, to push the envelope wide open, as in “double-stuffed with coupons.” His art includes the latest in technology and communication, choosing to incorporate all forms of medium. As with his novel, a first-of-its-kind interactive trade paper distributed worldwide, Kimmel uses unique methods in his art. “There’s no time for just paintings, unless that’s what you want to do.” says Kimmel.

The Truth and Lies Experiment, a national act, begins May 1st, 2005 at Everyday Joe’s Coffee House and Gallery, 144 S. Mason Street in Fort Collins. It runs until May 31st and will be in Colorado Springs, thereafter.
