At night the war
For what it’s worth
Becomes the more
emblazoned.

The crows make sure to tell
that gamblers feel much more safe
and pushers have an easier run with the candy.

The largest fish, savior yes, still resides
When the darkness settles in.

And true this that compassion for one’s soul
Might do a man good
At night
When the snakes form
maddening riffs of epic rebellion.

Idealism the beautiful escape,
Let those who muster do debate
Consider perhaps the chosen few
Who struggle with it through and through.

On explanation: this here thinker means only to impress upon the nature of choosing sides. Where with all these “liberals” become deluded into some sort of take care of everybody at all costs dynamic and these “conservatives” become deluded into higher power explanative fantasies so misguided that they destroy. And all the while our Lord truth stands idle, with the knowledge of and the revelation therefore too of part of the meaning of it all. “Get along,” children. “Get along.”

The author of said statement refuses to budge and explain himself further, realizing the epic nature of his task, knowing he must separate the forest from the tress, aware only too vividly that his purpose is still in development.

And still he figures on being responsibly irresponsible in so far as anything else would be self censorship, irrationally so.
